Hello to my rLoop family and friends, it's your Uncle G ⚓☠️

Welcome to the world of rLoop! This is a special Veteran’s addition of rVoice with "Parthon" a.k.a. Wallace Mitchell and Calvin Wade, professional musicians and collaborators for over 40 years.  Parthon whose name I screw up over and over and over again and Calvin have written a telling song about Calvin’s tour of duty in Vietnam.

The song was selected from a group of hundreds of entries to be represented on a CD (all songs written by veterans about their personal experiences). The CD will be used to raise money for various Veterans non-profit organizations. Calvin discusses how being a service member in the 60s coming back from Vietnam was not always a pleasant experience, sadly there was no fanfare and warm welcome for returning Vietnam vets...you were most likely to be spit on and called a baby killer, even worse if you were also a minority in the late 60s. I know, I know, pretty heavy for this show, but trust me when I tell you we have a lot of fun doing the video.  There are more laughs than tears! .
